We welcome visitors to the Sanctuary to meet the animals and hear their inspirational stories. Select the option that best fits your needs.
Community Tours
Community tours are open to the public. Reserve a space in a group of up to ten people during set hours. Space is limited, and reservations are required. There is a fee of $15 per person. Tickets are released periodically, so if you do not see availability or are looking for future dates, please check back or consider booking a private tour. Community tours are currently being offered at the following times:
Summer Hours
- Thursday, 6 - 7:30 pm
- Friday, 6 - 7:30 pm
- Saturday, 6 - 7:30 pm
- Sunday, 10 - 11:30 am
Private Tours
Enjoy a private tour of up to ten people with flexibility in scheduling. A fee of $150 is requested to reserve your spot. Please contact us to discuss scheduling.
School Groups
We are happy to offer complimentary tours for school groups. Please contact us to make the arrangements. We will also be offering virtual tours for classrooms in the Fall of 2023.
Corporate Retreats and Special Events

More About Our Tours
As you will be visiting with animals, during the registration process or onsite, you will be asked to indicate that you accept the Waiver and Release of Liability Form.
What to Expect
During the 90-minute tour, our tour guide will introduce you to our resident sheep, goats, cows, pigs, mini horses, and chickens. The guide will share the animal’s stories of rescue and help you learn more about the farmed animals and the challenges they face. You will learn about these beautiful and affectionate creatures while also being able to pet the animals and enjoy the beautiful landscape.
We are a working farm animal sanctuary, so expect to walk up to a quarter of a mile on semi-rough surfaces, potentially get dirty, and be exposed to natural weather (rain, heat, wind) elements.
After your tour, you can enjoy the gift shop and purchase clothes, water bottles, hats, toys, mugs, candles, and cards — to commemorate your day with the animals.
What to Wear
We will be walking in animal pastures, so wear closed-toe shoes you don’t mind getting dirty. Boots are preferable, but any closed-toe shoe will do. As you will be interacting with the animals, we recommend washable materials and no dangling (scarves or long necklaces) items.
What to Bring
We encourage you to bring a filled water bottle during the summer months as it gets hot! We have limited shade and coverings. We sometimes have gnats In the summer months, so a brimmed hat, sunglasses, or umbrella may be helpful. Sunscreen is also suggested.

Please do not bring any food or yummy-smelling items on your body or in your bag on the tour as our animals love to eat and are on special diets.
As much as we love all animals, please do not bring your dog or other pet as it will cause disruption to our resident animals.
Picnicking
After your tour, you are welcome to continue your visit, at our picnic table.
Out of respect for our animals, we do not allow any food with animal products to be consumed at Farm Sanctuary. Please ensure that all edible items are plant-based (no dairy, no cheese, no cow’s milk ice cream, no meat, no fish, no eggs).
If you want any assistance on how to plan a plant-based lunch, please feel free to contact us. We thank you for your cooperation and respect for this. It is very important to us.
Meeting Your Tour Guide
When you arrive, park in the spaces provided, and walk towards the gift shop, where you will see your tour guide. Please do not open the gate to the pasture without a tour guide present.
Visiting with Children
An adult must accompany all children under 15 unless arrangements are made in advance. Please contact us to discuss your needs.
While our community tours are open to all ages, private tours are strongly recommended for families with young children to enable us to better adjust the pacing and content of the tour for them.
You may be asked to carry your child at certain points in the tour. Also, be aware that the rough ground is not suited to carriages.
Wheelchair Accessibility
We welcome everyone, but unfortunately, We do not have paved paths throughout the property at this time. We would be happy to arrange a customized tour for those using wheelchairs or other mobility devices. Please contact us to arrange your visit.
Tour Fees
There is a $15 per person fee for the community tours, and only registered visitors are allowed on tours. There is no fee for carried infants. Tours are rain or shine, and all fees are non-refundable. In the case of severe weather, registrants will be provided a code to allow them to register at no added cost for a future tour.
If the suggested fee is not in your budget, we are happy to reduce or waive the fee. Please let us know how we can best facilitate your visit.
